He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose Mary; his parents, Mary Lou and Glen Russell McKelvey; and his children, Greg McKelvey, Kevin McKelvey, Ellen Gaddo, Erin Guillebeau, Anna "Kerry" Gagnon and Ryan "Boo" McKelvey. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
