Telford is survived by: son Desmond Benton (Brooke); grandchildren, Gianna Bankston, Elin Benton and Elijah Benton; and siblings, George Benton, Eva J. Millsap, Lillie Crawford, Willie Benton and Fronnie Creamer. Telford is also survived by nieces and nephews.
