It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Hays of Athens, Georgia, born in Carrollton, Missouri, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otto and Joanne Stobaugh Branstuder; and her daughter Stacy Nicole Hays. She is survived by: her husband Jake Hays; her children, Adam Hays (Angela) of Michigan and Rebecca Karpie (Johnathon) of Athens; her sister Laferne Moore of Washington; and her grandchildren, Addison, Aubrey Hays, Kinley and Maya Karpie.
