We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2023, at the age of 80, Richard Lee Lynch of Athens, Georgia, born in New Hampton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Genevieve "Ginny"; his children, Karen Bavis of Huntersville, NC, Sandy Laken (Dave) of Davidson, NC, Steven Lynch of Atlanta, GA and Patrick Lynch (Christine) of Olney, MD; and his grandchildren, Nate, Jack, Drew, Sam, Adam, Henry, Ann Townsend, Zachary and Charlie.
