With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul W. Yount Jr. of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kelley Meadows and Paul W. Yount, Sr. (Paul). He is survived by: his wife Peggy L. Yount; his children, Wesley Yount and Amy Rhoads; his son-in-law Rich; his stepdaughter Amy Sneed; his former wife Martha K. Yount; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Clinton, Chandler and Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Paul's favorite ministry – Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Pkwy., Charlotte, NC 28201 in Paul's memory.
