It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Evyonne Johns (Athens, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin McElwaney and Cora McElwaney; her siblings, Doris Peckenpaugh and Jack McElwaney; and her husband Bill Johns.

She is survived by: her sister Shirley Nichols; her children, Will, Beth Johns, David and Vickie Johns; and her grandchildren, Will IV, Mallory, Andrew and Elise Johns.

Covid followed quickly and it was a bit more isolating than anyone had hoped.
