He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh M. Baxter and Wretha Jeanette Adams Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Spurlack Baxter of Athens; his daughters, Debra Baxter Hiland (Todd) of Hartwell and Danna Green Huntsinger (Kenneth) of Commerce; and his stepdaughters, Jessica Yates Carter (Tim) of Cordele and Marnie Yates Walker (Steve) of Athens. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
