It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millie Lee Gibson of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hollis L. Gibson; her son Danny Gibson; her grandchildren, Bradley Waldrip, Alisha Williamson and Beth Gibson; and her parents, Clyde McDaniel and Eva McDaniel (Honeycutt).

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Evans, Marty Gibson (Donna) and Donna Waldrip (Robin); her siblings, Dave McDaniel, Willard McDaniel, Winsten Garner and Mildred Sutton; and her grandchildren, Mark Evans, Danny Gibson, Kenny Gibson, Matthew Evans, Tony Gibson, Stephen Waldrip, Travis Gibson and Michelle Tanner. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
