He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Birch and Beulah Shewmaker Birch; and his sister Jane Gail Birch Shewmaker. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Mae Robinson Birch; his children, Timothy Birch, Sonja Williamson and Misty Birch (Keith Waldrop); and his nephews, Richie Shewmaker and Gregory Shewmaker.
