She was predeceased by : her parents, John William Harvey, Sr. and Mildred Adams Harvey; and her husband H. P. "Sonny" Bell, III. She is survived by : her sons, Howell Phillip Bell, IV (Pam) of Barnesville, Georgia, David Kevin Bell (Jessica) of Atlanta, Georgia and Frederick Douglas Bell (Szilvia) of Athens; her grandchildren, Thomas Braxton Bell (Breanna) of Athens, Aidan Sammons Bell of Athens and Sherrod David Bell of Athens; her sister Bette Drake (Les) of Tallahassee; and her nephew Jeff Drake (Kasey) of Tallahassee, Florida..

A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (1301 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31201).
