She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Embry and Vivian Watson Embry Brooks; her husband Milton L. Dalton, Sr.; her sister Judy Dillard; and her grandson Joseph Kellum.
She is survived by: her children, Milton L. Dalton, Jr. (Sandra) of Danielsville, David Perry Dalton (Tiffany) of Athens, Benjamin John Dalton (Jessica) of Athens, Joseph Douglas Dalton of Athens and Joyann Carter (Randy) of Statham; and her sister Pamela Minish (Alvin) of Danielsville. She is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brockton Road Baptist Church, 2675 Brockton Road, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
