It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Elena Anderson of Athens, Georgia, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Campos and Dolores Campos; and her brother Tony Campos. She is survived by: her granddaughter Meagan Leigh Anderson; her husband Olin Warren Anderson; her children, Judy Smith, Don Anderson (Angela) and Kay Royster (Todd); and her grandchild Christy Thomas (Andy). She is also survived by Her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
