Though Lonnie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lonnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his father Jimmy Martin; his children, Dakota Martin (Miranda) of Fayetteville, NC and Kaylan Herndon (Levi) of Lutherville, GA; his mother Anita Martin of Athens; his brothers, Steve Martin (Laney) of Grayson and Bobby Martin (Kaleigh) of Hoschton; and his nephew Kaleb Martin.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the New Life Baptist Church (2603 Rat Kinney Rd, Statham, GA 30666).
