We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2023, at the age of 65, Laurie Rainey (Athens, Georgia), born in Albany, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Whaley and Shirley Justice Hughes; her son Clint Rainey; and her brother Michael Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Donny Rainey; her children, Jenifer Rainey Policastro (Jared), Sophie, Evan, Lena and James Policastro; and her siblings, Leslie Parham (Dan), Robby Hughes (Elizabeth), Payne Hughes and Allen Hughes (Teresa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice Society or Humane Society.
