With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Hardman Colquitt of Athens, Georgia, born in Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on July 2, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Albert and Agnes Mae Harris Hardman; her daughter-in-law Carol Ann Colquitt; her granddaughter Katie Colquitt; her brother Guy Hardman; and her husband Levis H. Colquitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Pat; her son-in-law Mike Sims of Winder; her son Albert Colquitt of Winterville; her brother Ray Hardman (Roberta) of Hoover, AL; her grandchildren, Chris Colquitt (Julie), Kellie Creel (Jason) and Matt Sims (Wendy); and her great grandchildren, Carter Colquitt, Eloisa Colquitt, Johanna Colquitt, Luke Sims and Cooper Creel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery Fund by mailing donations to SCBC at 1071 Athens Road, Crawford, GA 30630.
