With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Julia Bell Smith of Athens, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Banks and Frances Mae Banks (Williams); and her brothers, Lonnie Banks Jr. and Frank Banks. She is survived by: her husband Ulysses; her siblings, James Banks and Patricia Banks; her children, Anissa Mull, Darryl Smith and Syreeta Leaks; and her grandchildren, Mikayla Leaks, Ramiyah Leaks, Lawrence Mull IV (Artie), Emmanuel Leaks (Mannie), Eden Leaks, Edvin Leaks, Charles Mull and Xalev Leaks.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Acres Cemetery (1485 Schatulga Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
