It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hastings Frazee in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Marie Shaw Harrison and Joe Melvin Hastings; and her husband Edward Gene Frazee. She is survived by: her brother Terry Haislip; her daughter Tonya Vernon (Bryan Vernon); her grandchildren, Callie and Jefferson "Jake"; her son Gregory Scott; and her stepchildren, Mary Lou Walls (Tom), Barry Frazee and Karen Myers. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
