With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeremy Hayes of Athens, Georgia, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his godmother Margie Sue Woods; his aunt Dona Lynn Hayes; and his uncle Arthur Stephens. He is survived by: his parents, Seretha Hayes and Lee Hayes; his daughters, Ashley Taylor Hayes-Rogers and Lillian Hayes of Georgia; his brother Justin Hayes (Mandy); his uncle Rodney Hayes (Traci); his aunts, Beverly Stephens and Lisa Skinner; his nieces, Madison Hayes, Calee Hayes-Morgan and Annie Hunt; his cousins, Brett Hayes (Bre), Kitty Hardin (Tori), Brent Stephens (Nicole), Xander Stephens, Bailey Stephens and Skylar Stephens; and his close friend Jeremy Mahan.

The family has requested that flowers please be omitted, and memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
