He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Grant (Michael Grant) of Seattle, WA and Trena Pless of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Allison Grant, Erin Gilliam (Gabe), Elizabeth Griner (Thomas), Benjamin Pless (Emily) and Meredith Varnadore (Derek); and his great grandchildren, Jonah, Auden, Grayson Eggers, Oliver, Cardinal Gilliam and Jack Alan Varnadore.
