He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Letitia Alfonsi (Richard), Cyrus Utley (Edith), Moriah Brown (Michael) and Eliza Furtwaengler (Lars); and his grandchildren, Peter, Rosemary, Vivian Alfonsi, Stella, Griffith Utley, Elizabeth, Eleanor Brown, Joni, Oliver and Luke Furtwaengler.
