The passing of Hazel S. Sniff (Athens, Georgia), born in New Orleans, Louisiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Spangler and Edna Spangler; her brothers, Clair Spangler and Ervin Spangler, Sr.; and her son Dave Sniff.
She is survived by: her significant other George Louis Sniff; her children, Donald Sniff, Daniel (Joyce Hardman Sniff) and Denise (Paul Manderfield); her daughter-in-law Juanda Sniff; her siblings, Donald Spangler and Carolyn; her siblings-in-law, Bruce Eschete, Audrey Spangler, Beverly Spangler, Gerald and Lola Sniff; and her grandchildren, Shawn (Samantha Sniff), Amberlie (Stephen Flippen), Hashi Schoen (Shaunn Oaten), Ashley Escoe, Erin (T. J. Bunch), Rylee Beauvais, Sydney Sniff, David (Elizabeth Manderfield), Kathleen Manderfield and Claire Manderfield. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tuckston United Methodist Church (4175 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
