The memory of Evelyn Drawdy Stewart of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Moore Drawdy and Lena Clements Drawdy; and her siblings, Sherman Drawdy, Pauline Wetherington, Perry Moore Drawdy, Jr., Alvin Drawdy, Carson Drawdy, James Drawdy and Benjamin Drawdy.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Keiffer Stewart; her daughters, Angela Stewart DeLorme (Dean), Jayne Stewart Hunter (Larry) and Jill Elaine Stewart; her grandchildren, Ashley Panter, Kelsey Lance (Cody), Nicholas Hunter (Deana), Benton Hunter and Olivia Stewart Hoosh; and her great grandchildren, Branson Lance and Sutton Lance.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home East (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (http://www.lls.org) or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (http://www.michaeljfox.org) in Evelyn's memory.
