With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Frances Holcomb of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Terry C. Holcomb; and her parents, Garnet Owensby and Lillie B. Owensby. She is survived by: her brothers, Joe Owensby and Bobby Owensby; her children, Sandra Denise, David Holcomb (Barbara) of West Point, Utah, Michael Holcomb (Susan) of Hull and Janet Lance (Kurk) of Maxeys; and her siblings, Ed Owensby (Carol), Jimmy Owensby (Shirley), Elizabeth Crider (Willard), Marie Hill (Randy), Jeriel Owensby (Emily) and Steve Owensby (Evie). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Cancer Association or to a charity of your choice.
