We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 97, Doris Elaine Stone of Athens, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Inman and Eva Horton Inman; her husband Raymond Stone; her daughter Betty Weatherly; and her siblings, Ralph Inman and Elizabeth Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Weller (Steven) of Carthage, NY and Kathy Miller of Minoa, NY; her grandchildren, Faith Dunlap, David Miller (Jamie), Scott Weller (Wendy) and Lisa Weller; her great grandchildren, Joshua Dunlap, Joseph Dunlap, Reagan Miller, Molly Miller, Kara Weller, Abigail Weller and Alyvia Weller; and her great great grandchildren, Alea Barrette, Brayden Barrette, Davina Dunlap, Jaxson Dunlap, Gabriella Dunlap and Carter Dunlap.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crooked Creek Baptist Church (6202 Jefferson River Rd, Athens, GA 30606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the Crooked Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (6202 Jefferson River Rd, Athens, GA 30606).
