He is survived by: his wife Marsha Hix Norris of Athens; his son Samuel Gill (Christy) of Homer; his stepson Clayton Norris (Lourann) of Atlanta, Two; his brothers, Harry Gill of Opelika and Wade Gill of Savannah; and his grandson Hart Norris.
