With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Louis Trippi of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia Davis Trippi; his daughter Joann Trippi Johns; his parents, Joseph Trippi and Joanna Attardo Trippi; his stepmother Genovieve Trippi; and his siblings, Sam Trippi, Angie Insalaco and Mary Bruno.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy McNiven Trippi; his children, Brenda Fleeman (Randy) of Nicholson, GA and Charles Trippi, Jr. (Carla) of Duluth, GA; and his stepchildren, Rob Bell (Patsy) of Cornelia, GA, Kim Gunnin (Keith) of Watkinsville, GA and Terry Bell (Jeanne) of Gainesville, GA. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a football, baseball or any sport youth program in his honor.
