He is survived by: his wife Mary Brodnax of Athens; his daughter Linda Phillips of Athens; his sister Wanda McCart (Richard) of Seneca, SC; and his grandchildren, Brian Watson (Amy) of Greensboro, GA, Anna Gillett (Bruce) of San Antonio, TX and Grace Hyman (Mark) of Loganville, GA. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
