He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Gilmer Duty, Jimmy Wilton Gilmer and William Keith Gilmer; and his children, Janice Elrod Jordan (Mike Jordan), Charles Gilmer Elrod, Jr., Michael Rosser, Susan Elrod Pruitt (Cory Pruitt) and Ronny Kinney (Darenda Kinney).
