It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Nelson Dobbins Jr. of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nelson Dobbins, Sr. and Beulah Eloise Logan Dobbins; and his wife Ella Mae Brandon Dobbins. He is survived by: his children, David A. Dobbins (Robin) and Susan D. Knox (Kris); his grandchildren, Laura Lyle (Alex), Kelli Blackburn (A. J.), Jason Dobbins (Bridgett) and Chip Knox (Joanna); and his great grandchildren, Jack Blackburn, Shelby Blackburn, Jackson Dobbins, Charlie Dobbins and Charlie Knox.
