He is survived by: his daughter Kasi Fitzpatrick Thurmond (Scotty); his brothers, Nelson Fitzpatrick and Jeff Fitzpatrick (Jane); his granddaughters, Anna Kate Thurmond and Mary Grant Thurmond; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Fitzpatrick Gandara, Ashley Fitzpatrick Jenkins, Chris Fitzpatrick and Zachary Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by nine great nieces and great nephews.
