She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Joe Danner and Sarah Elizabeth Danner; her grandparents, Tommy House (Big Pa) and Carrie House (Big Ma); and her siblings, Sara Frances Danner and Edward Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Vera Shorter, Sara Henson (Warren), Cindy Brandjord (Peter) and John Harp Jr. (Beth); her sister Annie Sara Hull; her grandchildren, Tamara Shorter, Rusty Shorter, Ebony Murphy (Timothy), Wesley Henson, Seth Brandjord (Stacey) and John Luke Brandjord; and her great grandchildren, Aurelia Shorter, Aleia Shorter, Cambree Henson, Timothy Murphy Jr. (TJ) and Mabel Brandjord.
In honor of Carrie's giving nature and dedication to helping others, the family kindly requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Athens Community Council on Aging to support their Meals on Wheels program.
