He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dewey Foster and Gertie Foster (Lowe); and his siblings, Dewey Foster, James Edward Foster, Vernice Foster Isbell and Roger Clifford Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Foster; his sister Gladys Foster Young; his children, James Robert Foster and Cynthia Foster Paulson (Chris); his grandsons, James Reid Foster (Samantha) and Lawson Jane Foster Lewis (Kenny); and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Stella Foster, Kalleigh, Tatum and Baylor Lewis.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
