With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Noell Rowan of Athens, Georgia, born in Comer, Georgia, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Jeannette Comer Noell and Willis Newton Noell; her husband Samuel James Rowan, Sr. (Jim); and her grandson Benjamin James Rowan. She is survived by: her sister Lynn Peek of Avondale Estates, GA; her children, Samuel James Rowan, Jr. (Susan Joy) of Bluffton, SC, Judy Rowan Westbrook (Michael) of Watkinsville and Noell Lee Rowan (Laura) of Carolina Beach, NC; her grandchildren, Chris Rowan (Kenya), Miriam Cox and Sarahgrace Cox (Dustin); and her great grandchild Alex Rowan.
