He is survived by: his parent Emily Jane Jones Wells; his wife Imogene Beard Wells of Ashburn; his children, Brenda Gail Palmer (Fred) of Adel, Phillip A. Wells (Kaye) of Marietta and Emmitt T. Harwick, Jr of Valley, AL.; his grandchildren, Melissa Palmer Betts (Tony), Mary Kathryn Wells, Clark Wells (Pamela), Taylor Hardwick and Alex Harwick (Keisha); and his great grandchildren, Palmer Betts, Preston Pate Betts, Emilee Betts and Harper Hardwick.
