It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mammie Holmes formerly of Ashburn, Georgia, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sr. Beckhom and Annie Singleton Beckhom; her husband Albert Holmes; her sons, Gary Stevens, Louis Stevens and Derky Stevens; and her siblings, Thelma Climpson, Gussie Beckhom, Lillian Taylor, Anna Mae Beckhom, Lottie Jones, Inez Taylor, Alma Beckhom, Lucille Beckhom, Elizabeth Beckhom, Willie H. Beckhom, Benjamin Beckhom (B. J.), Willie Mae Beckhom and Hezekiah Beckhom.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gates and Ronald Stevens. She is also survived by son-in-law, a daughter-in-law; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Mae Office; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
