He is survived by: his wife Patricia Holmes; his children, Johnnie B. Holmes, Jr. (Sharon), Roy Pierce (Linda), Calvin McCray, Sabrina Holmes, Aurora Sears (Roger) and Sonja Walker (Horace); and his sister Inez Green. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
