Chatfield, Sr.; his son Cedric Gamble; his mother China Mae Smith Chatfield of Ashburn, Georgia; his close friend Betty Section; his children, Lawondo Gibson of Ashburn, Shondalette Monique Chatfield-Ray (Christopher) of Atlanta, James Sidney Chatfield (Shantell) of Columbia, James Donald Chatfield III (Sunga) of Cordele and Markesha Monique Chatfield of Los Angeles, California; his grandchildren, Kayland Winters, Semaj Chatfield, Tristin Chatfield and Semiah Chatfield; his siblings, Linda Gamble of Ashburn, Billy Ray Hall (Michelle) of Rebecca, Diane Chatfield of Ashburn, Aretha Clay (Alfred) of Cusseta, Kimberly Chatfield of Ashburn, Georgia and Michael Chatfield of Ashburn, Georgia; and his aunt Eddie Mae Martin of Ashburn, Georgia. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
