He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Roberts and Latrelle Branch Roberts; his wife Geraldine Sharpe Roberts; and his sons, Barry and Ricky Matthews.
He is survived by: his children, Gail D. Maddox of Dublin, GA, Theron "Ted" Ross Roberts of Ashburn, GA and Roy A. Mathews (Alma) of Middleburg, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hutcheson Cemetery.
