He was predeceased by: his parent William Williford Giddens; his stepmother Mae Pearl Ward Giddens; and his siblings, Betty Jean Griffith, Rex Giddens, Randy Giddens, Riley Giddens, Rowena Giddens Sellars and Norma Denham.
He is survived by: his parent Mattie R. Bryant; his siblings, Rachel Giddens, Evelyn Morrison and Roger Giddens (Starling); and his sister-in-law Karmen Giddens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
