He was predeceased by: his father Ross Matthews, Jr.; his former wife Barbara Ann Matthews; and his brother Ricky Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Matthews of Ashburn; his stepfather Gary Roberts of Ashburn; his daughter Teresa Stanfield of Glennville, GA; his stepchildren, Freddie Ansley, Bill Ansley III (Leah) and Stephen Ansley (Chelsey); his siblings, Roy Alfred Matthews (Alma) of Middleburg, FL, Ted Roberts of Ashburn and Gail Dee Maddox of Dublin, GA; and his grandchildren, Carmen Bigalow, Kara Grey, Crystal Gilliam and Amber Howe. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
