She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Thornton Chandler and Sarah Louise Veale Chandler; her siblings, Helen G. Chandler Usry and Ronald L. Chandler; and her husband Jimmy Lee Higgins.
She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Marie Higgins-Weems of Oglethorpe County; and her brother Donald R. Chandler of Marietta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
