He is survived by: his spouse Loretta Joyce Taylor Calvert of Armuchee; his children, Larry Johnson (Dena), Ronald Calvert Jr (Angie), Kay Dostart (Bryan), Sheila Ray (Josh) and Tammy Carroll; his siblings, Dorsey Calvert (Joan), Doran Calvert (Mary), Jesslyn Sutton, Cleora Kouns, Cleta Stapleton, Patty Ogle (Dale), Marilyn Roberts (Dick) and Rita Barker (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Amber, Tabitha, Becky, Jaime, Jake, Christy, Megan and Jessie. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and one great great-grandson, 20 nephews, 11 nieces and several great nephews and nieces.
