He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emory Mathis, Sr. and Annie Lou Hughes Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Linda Louise Payton Mathis; his children, Dewayne Mathis (Mary), Sandy Headrick (Jeff) and Eric Mathis; his grandchildren, Haven Mathis, Kayla Mathis, Austin Headrick (Jasmine), Gracie Headrick, Zac Mathis, Mandi White (Nathan), Erika Mathis and Roslyn Headrick; his great grandchildren, Atticus Lester, Liam Maxwell and Lyra White; and his siblings, William E. Mathis, Jr., Patricia Ward and Regina Tubbs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Social distancing measures will be followed, and masks are requested at both the visitation and funeral service.
