He is survived by: his wife Harriett Shiver; his brother Leon (Evelyn Shiver); and his daughters, Rena (Eddie Ganus) and Leigh (Don Chamblee). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great granddaughters, and one nephew and stepchildren.
