She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Moreland Ransom and Mary Alice Miller Ransom; her husband James "Jackie" Sharpe; her daughter Sonya Gowens; and her siblings, Ilene Woodfin and Freddy Ransom.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Katie Sharpe Haynes, Carlynn Sharpe-Ehui, Conrad Sharpe and Dalton Sharpe; her grandsons-in-law, Ian Haynes and Patrick Ehui; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Lillian and Lowery Haynes; her brother Doyle Ransom; and her sister-in-law Sandra Ransom. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
