He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Laura Davis Caldwell and William Griffin Caldwell; his wife Shirley Mae Caldwell; and his siblings, Jeanie Nelson, Calvin Caldwell, Tom Caldwell, John Caldwell, Monroe Caldwell and George Caldwell.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Mae Barrett, Karen Ann Pursley, Teresa Marvine Crabtree (David) and Marvin Randall Caldwell; his sisters, Mary Spiller, Martha Hicks and Janie Beard; his grandchildren, Lee Crabtree, Randall "Bubba" Crabtree, Misty Ingram, Randy Martin, Randall Caldwell, Calandra Goss and Kalean Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Levi Crabtree, Peyton Martin and Tate Martin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Mr. Caldwell will lie in state at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Friday from 1:30 pm until the service hour with social distancing guidelines being followed.
