He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clarence Hembree and Mae Gentry Hembree; his daughter Patricia Anne Hembree; his brother Rev. David Hembree; and his brother-in-law Richard D. Hindmon, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Flores of Cedartown, Cynthia Victoria of Cedartown, Michael Hembree (Melissa) of Aragon and Stacie Buffington (Jeff) of Armuchee; his siblings, Rosetta Hindmon (Rudy), James Hembree (Brenda), George Hembree (Jackie), Johnny Hembree (Jennie), Cathrine Wigley (Charles), Edward Hembree (Suzette) and Clarence Hembree (Angie); and his sisters-in-law, Irma McPhereson (Gerald) and Betty Hindmon. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
