He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harry Battle and Edna Mae Blankenship Battle. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Battle; and his children, Dana Kelley (Jacob), Audrey Capo (Brett), Matthew Battle (Stephanie), Jeremy Battle (Dana) and Thomas Abrams (Cody). He is also survived by six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
