She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Marion Cape and Annie Lee Denson Cape; and her sister Marilyn Ann Cape Michael. She is survived by: her husband George T. Shaw; her children, George T. Shaw Jr. (Lori), Britt Shaw (Sara) and Erin Davis (Trent); her grandchildren, Chloe Shaw, Clara Davis, Ian Shaw, Cape Davis, Anna Lee Shaw, Maggie, Joseph and Sophia; and her brother Albrecht Cape (Erin). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
