He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas H. Newberry, Nell, Charles Cook and Buford Hathorn; and his uncle John Hathorn.
He is survived by: his parents, Rodney B. Hathorn and Debra Newberry Hathorn; his wife Lynn Duke Hathorn; his daughters, Sadie Lynn Hathorn and Chloe Suzanne Chesser; his brothers, Victor S. Hathorn (Chelsea) and Thomas J. "Jay" Hathorn (Ashley); his grandmother Ann Craft Newberry; his nephews, Thomas McNeil Hathorn, John William Hathorn, Deen Worley and Dane Worley (Rachel); his niece Anna Wolf; his parents-in-law, Bobby and Judy Duke; and his sister-in-law Donna Wolf (Billy). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
